Administration 

Club Director - Amanda Prows - amanda.prows@yahoo.com
Amanda started playing volleyball when she was 13 years old, in North Carolina. She went on to be the starting middle blocker on Varsity her Freshman year in which her team won the North Carolina State Championships. She then moved to California where she continued her high school and club career as a middle, right, and an outside hitter. She placed 5th at the National Tournament her Junior year, and won second in the state of California her Senior Year. She was named MVP-Offense for three years, Most Inspirational one of the years. Amanda earned a full scholarship to University of Oregon where she finished her competitive indoor career and completed her degree in Sociology. Amanda went on to compete in sand volleyball in Oregon and here she began her coaching career. She has been a head coach for 5 years, coaching 14u through and 18u teams. She is a positive and driven coach who is passionate about skill building and team bonding.  She is looking forward to her new roll as Club Director.

General Manager - David Anderson - David@PDX-VB.com
David has been coaching and playing volleyball for the last 20 years. He started playing volleyball at the Multnomah Athletic Club and was a Grass Doubles champion in several local tournaments.  He started coaching in 2001 and has been an active coach ever since.  David started the Wilson-VB Volleyball Club in 2004 & PDX))VB in 2006 where he was the director/coach.  Because of his passion for volleyball, he has taken extensive coaches training including, Terry Liskevych's (current head coach at OSU) high performance coaching clinic.  David is currently the General Manager of PDX-VB Club.

Ashley has personally played competitive volleyball since the time she was in 5th grade.  She was apart of a sister city team that traveled to Japan in 1997 and had all conference as well as all state awards in high school.  Coach Glisson also played one year for George Fox University .  Her coaching experience includes instruction on skills and agility through summer camps, as well as coaching all age levels at the high school level in both school and club volleyball.  Coach Glisson is currently the Head Volleyball Coach at Wilson High School.

Coach - Brick Street - brickst5@comcast.net
Brick has been playing volleyball most of his adult life as well as coaching since 1985.  Brick was the Varsity Volleyball Coach at Grant High School for over 16 years and a Club Volleyball Coach for the last 12 years.  In 1981 Brick was Men's MVP  for the Columbia Empire Volleyball region. 1997 Brick played in the Australian pro tour and his team won the Brisbane Open.  In 2002 - 2003 the Brick played on the national championship team.  Brick is currently working to develop boys volleyball in the region.

Coach - Andres Turvis - turvispr@live.com
Andres started playing volleyball when he was 10 years old. Played for a club called Borinquen Coqui, in Puerto Rico as an opposite hitter. In his second season of High School he lead his team to a 2nd place victory in the region.  After graduating from High School he went right into coaching Club and High School.  In 2007 the club team he was coaching (13u Fusion Volleyball Club) went to the AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) National tournament in Orlando and won the 3rd place in the gold division. Andres has been working with volleyball players in the community ever since he moved to Portland with high intensive skills clinics, also coaching at Grant High School and Head Coach at Benson High School.  Loves everything about the game and will always be involved in volleyball.

Erin started playing volleyball when she was 12 years old; she played 4 years of Varsity Volleyball at Lakeridge High School as an outside hitter, where she was Team Captain.  She played for both Trails End and Portland Volleyball Club (PVC).  Along with playing Volleyball all year round, Erin played on the Varsity basketball team for 3 years and was the captain her Senior year.  During her High School career, Erin coached 7th and 8th grade basketball and after graduating in 2001 began coaching as an assistant for JV, as well as Varsity basketball.   This will be her second year with PDX)))VB and she is just finishing her first year coaching a Grant High School.  Erin went to University of Oregon, where she was active in playing intramurals on campus (Go Ducks!).  Erin has a huge love for the game, understands the importance of team sports for teens and is very excited to be playing and coaching volleyball.

Mindy has been  involved with all aspects of volleyball her whole life. She  played volleyball as a kid as well as in high school.  Since college she coached for 5 years, assistant to Amanda Porter-Prows at, Webfoot Volleyball Club, Delta Valley Volleyball Club, Nike Northwest Volleyball Club, Nafanua Volleyball Club, & two yeas with PDX)))VB..  She is an active member in the volleyball community, both indoor and sand.  I am excited to coaching my own team this year.

Joe has played volleyball for 20+ years. Competitively he competed in men's 2's and 6's tournaments at A/BB level. I now enjoy playing recreationally and coaching. his focus on strong fundamentals and developing a life long love for the game of volleyball.  This is his second year as a coach for PDX)))VB and he also coaches at Wilson High School.

Coach - Keeley McAnnis-Entenman - k.mcannisentenman@gmail.com
Keeley has been playing volleyball since she was thirteen and cannot get enough of the game. In her first year at Grant High School she was the only freshman to make the varsity team, and throughout her four years as middle hitter at Grant Keeley received numerous city, state and school awards. She was voted team captain by her peers her junior and senior years and her team made it to the state playoffs three years in a row. Keeley then progressed to Division 3 Athletics at Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana where she started as middle blocker and played all around all four years. She currently holds the school record for highest hitting percentage in a game and was awarded multiple conference, college and regional awards, including Senior Woman Scholar Athlete for the North Coast Athletic Conference, 2010.  She looks to emphasize dynamic player attributes as well as team building in her role as coach.

Coach - Kristie Hopkins-Janssen kristie@injurylaworegon.com 
Kristie has been playing volleyball since her freshman year at Franklin High School. Her senior year, the volleyball team went to the State playoffs for the first time in school history. Kristie also received 2nd team all city for defensive specialist. Since high school, she has been playing for Portland Volleyball Association with her team Floor Burn. She also have been coaching for the past 11 years at Franklin. The last 6 has been as head coach. As well as volleyball, she has also coached 4 years of softball at both Franklin and Cleveland. Kristie believes her athletes should not only be volleyball players; but amazing sportsman, dedicated students and team players.  Kristie coached for PDX)))VB several years ago and we welcome her back.

Tiffanie started playing volleyball at the age of 14. I played for the Tigard Club Volleyball 14U team. she spend (4) years on the Tigard High School Varsity team as an outside hitter. During that time she played for Rose City Volleyball Club and (3) years at Nike NW Juniors. she earned a full scholarship to University of Hawaii-Hilo as an outside hitter and left side defense player. After college she came back to Oregon where she took up coaching and playing beach volleyball. she spend about 4 years coaching a loved every moment of it.  She is looking forward to coaching for PDX)))VB.

Jorden started playing volleyball in eighth grade and fell in love with it. She has played every school and club season since. She has recieved many awards, MVP-Defense, team-cheerleader and most inspirational player to name a few. Now playing at Warner Pacific College she has started coaching to encourage players, and help them develop skills on and off the volleyball court. She is excited to be coaching and see her players grow as she has throughout this sport.

Ciarrah played volleyball since she was eight. She played club volleyball for Nike, Cascade, and Alpine volleyball club. She I played on Varsity all through High School and received 2nd team all state her senior year, and was captain of the varsity squad. Volleyball is truly a passion, and is excited to be working with PDX)))VB for her first year.

Scott has been playing sports his whole life, and started coaching both volleyball and basketball when his son and daughter started to get interested in the sports. Since then, Scott has been very involved in Portland Parks & Rec. His daughter followed in his footsteps and is going to Franklin and playing volleyball. Scott was asked in 2010 to be a volunteer coach and to take the JV2 coaching position in 2011. He believes in hard work, discipline and coming to practice with a positive attitude and drive. This is his first year with PDX)))VB

Ron played volleyball recreationally for many years, and always been a student of the technical aspects of the game. He had the good fortune to play alongside some very good and very generous players, and soak up as much advice. He wishes volleyball was a boys sport here in Oregon.  He coached players for 3 seasons now, and find it very rewarding every time the game starts to click for a player, and he sees the "can't get enough of volleyball" spark. In coaching he emphasize technique and strategy, and the unique aspects of this team sport, where every player is necessary and success is as much about dexterity, brains, and trust as it is about speed and brawn.  this is his first year as a coach for PDX)))VB.
