Administration 

Club Director - Brick Street - brickst5@comcast.net
Brick has been playing volleyball most of his adult life as well as coaching since 1985.  Brick has been the Varsity Volleyball Coach at Grant High School for the last 16 years and a Club Volleyball Coach for the last 12 years.  In 1981 Brick was Men's MVP  for the Columbia Empire Volleyball region. 1997 Brick played in the Australian pro tour and his team won the Brisbane Open.  In 2002 - 2003 the Brick played on the national championship team.  Brick is currently the Director of the PDX-VB Club.  Brick's main focus is on player development and working with the younger players U12 - U14.

Assistant Club Director & Private Lessons Coach - Andres Turvis - turvispr@live.com
Andres started playing volleyball when he was 10 years old. Played for a club called Borinquen Coqui, in Puerto Rico as an opposite hitter. In his second season of High School he lead his team to a 2nd place victory in the region.  After graduating from High School he went right into coaching Club and High School.  In 2007 the club team he was coaching (13u Fusion Volleyball Club) went to the AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) National tournament in Orlando and won the 3rd place in the gold division. Andres has been working with volleyball players in the community ever since he moved to Portland with high intensive skills clinics, also coaching at Grant High School last year and now is the Head Coach at Benson High School .  Loves everything about the game and will always be involved in volleyball.

Private Lessons Coach - Ashley Glisson - coach.aglisson@gmail.com
Ashley has personally played competitive volleyball since the time she was in 5th grade.  She was apart of a sister city team that travelled to Japan in 1997 and had all conference as well as all state awards in high school.  Coach Glisson also played one year for George Fox University .  Her coaching experience includes instruction on skills and agility through summer camps, as well as coaching all age levels at the high school level in both school and club volleyball.  Coach Glisson is currently the Head Volleyball Coach at Wilson High School.

General Manager - David Anderson - David@PDX-VB.com
David has been coaching and playing volleyball for the last 20 years. He started playing volleyball at the Multnomah Athletic Club and was a Grass Doubles champion in several local tournaments.  He started coaching in 2001 and has been an active coach ever since.  David started the Wilson-VB Volleyball Club in 2004 & PDX))VB in 2006 where he was the director/coach.  Because of his passion for volleyball, he has taken extensive coaches training including, Terry Liskevych's (current head coach at OSU) high performance coaching clinic.  David is currently the General Manager of PDX-VB Club.

Coach - Amanda Porter-Prows - amanda.prows@yahoo.com
Amanda started playing volleyball when she was 13 years old, in North Carolina. She went on to be the starting middle blocker on Varsity her Freshman year in which her team won the North Carolina State Championships. She then moved to California where she continued her high school and club career as a middle, right, and an outside hitter. She placed 5th at the National Tournament her Junior year, and won second in the state of California her Senior Year. She was named MVP-Offense for three years, Most Inspirational one of the years. Amanda earned a full scholarship to University of Oregon where she finished her competitive indoor career and completed her degree in Sociology. Amanda went on to compete in sand volleyball in Oregon and here she began her coaching career. She has been a head coach for 5 years, coaching 14u and 17u teams. She is a positive and driven coach who is passionate about skill building and team bonding.

Anna started playing volleyball in the 5th grade. She spent five years playing with various club teams. In high school Anna was put on varsity as a sophomore at Sam Barlow High School. Her senior year she helped coach an 8th grade girls' volleyball team. She has a strong love for the game and is very excited to help the girls develop skills for on and off the court this season!

Ben has played volleyball sense he was nine years old, playing in high school in Wisconsin and Missouri Valley College a Division 2 school.  Currently he Coaches at Catlin Gabel School.  He enjoys working with youth and developing new players.  He brings enthusiasm and excellent volleyball skills along with being well liked by his players.

Coach - Rachael Rethwill - rachael.rethwill@gmail.com  
Rachael has been playing volleyball since she was 13 years old.  She played 4 years varsity in high school and traveled all over the NW with her club team.  After  high school Rachael played one year of division three in college.  She has continues to play every year and last year her Vancouver Women's team took first place in their division.  Rachael is the current volleyball coach for Faith Bible High School were last season they finished 3rd in league and made it to the state tournament.  She also has run an annual youth volleyball camp for the last 3 years in Hillsboro.  Rachael loves the thrill of competition and perhaps most important the positive effects that athletics has had on her life which she in turns hopes to inspire those same positive effects in other young women.

Bill began coaching Volleyball in 1986 in Marin County, California.  In 17 High School Seasons, he coached Freshmen, JVII, Frosh-Soph & Varsity Girls Teams at 5 different schools in two states.  In 2004, Bill began working with girls from Laurelhurst Elementary to introduce them to the Sport and eventually Club Volleyball.  Last year, he joined PDX-VB Club and coached a 12U Team.  For 2009, he is looking forward to coaching U14’s

Doug got the volleyball bug when watching the 1984 Olympics.  After that he joined a club team and played for two years.  Doug has spent many years coaching  youth sports.  He has a good child development skills related to sports play but this will be a first for him applying that knowledge on the volleyball court.

Lana started playing volleyball for her middle school in Colorado when she was 10. She continued on to play four years in high school and four years for club where she traveled all over Colorado and several neighboring states for competition. For the majority of her playing experience, she played as an outside hitter. Volleyball has been a passion of Lana's for over ten years and this will be here first year coaching.

Felicia started playing volleyball when she was 13. She played at Westview high school in Beaverton and worked her way from the freshman team, to jv, to varsity for the last two years of high school, when the team made the state tournament each year, finishing 4th in the state her senior year.  After high school Felicia went on to play volleyball at Whittier College, in Southern California (Go Poets!). Felicia has helped assistant coach two 12U teams previously, and after a break from volleyball to attend Lewis and Clark law school, she is excited to hit the court again and work with PDX)))VB!

Kendra played club volleyball for 5 years. Played for North Idaho college and Cascade College on volleyball scholarships. Assisted for Cascade College for one year and then Head Volleyball Coach for Cascade College for two years and now currently head varsity coach for Portland Lutheran High School. She also coached for North Idaho, Pacific, North West Jrs, Vancouver Lightening, Excel and Nafanua volleyball club.

Erin has been playing volleyball for the past 18 years.  She was involved with club volleyball throughout her four years at Grant High School and believes that the club experience, hard work, and a passion for the game were the factors that led her to earn numerous recognitions, including Honorable Mention All State as a setter her senior year of high school.  Although Erin's athletic focus in college was Rugby, she continued to find ways to play her first love.  Erin has just finished her first season as Varsity Head Coach at Madison High School.  During the past club season, Erin coached the PDX U-16's Orange team and she looks forward to coaching a new group of girls this season to be skilled, determined, and smart volleyball players.

Crosby started playing club volleyball at the age of 10 and continued with different clubs until she was 18. She played for Grant High School, all 4 years of attendance, as a setter and defensive specialist. During her junior and senior years she was captain of the varsity team and hopes to instill team work and dedication to her players, both skills she learned in the position. Crosby has coached for Grant's JV2 and this is her second year with PDX- last year she coached the 16U Team. Crosby believes that the club season is about having fun and growing as a player and wants her girls to push themselves to be the best they can. She is really looking forward to the upcoming season!!

Coach - Jeff Sevilla- sevilla.jeff@gmail.com
Jeff started playing volleyball in his sophomore year of high school.  He played on his high school’s varsity team for three years before moving on to college, where he played one year of college club volleyball.  In addition to playing club volleyball, Jeff was an avid doubles/mixed doubles player.  After playing college club volleyball, Jeff returned to his high school, where he coached the boys’ varsity program for two years.  Since he and his family relocated to Portland, Jeff has returned to coaching volleyball, spending the past two years coaching CYO teams at All Saints.  Jeff looks forward to his first youth club experience and is excited to work with the 12s.

Megan started playing volleyball in the 5th grade. She played seven years of club and was on varsity her freshman-senior years. She specialized as a defensive specialist (middle back and libero). Her sophomore, junior and senior years she earned all league honors. Out of high school she volunteered coaching at the JV level for two years, and then went on to head coach an 8th grade junior high team. Two seasons ago she coached the 16’s for Forest Grove Ohana.  She’s really excited to work with the 12’s this season!

Lynsee has been playing volleyball since 5th grade. She started Varsity her Sophomore year in high school and played Outside All Around. She was awarded 1st team all league her senior year. She also played three years of club where she specialized in defense. She went on to coach for Forest Grove Ohana two seasons ago and is now looking forward to this upcoming season with the 12’s team!
